Model Animation/Texture-002

Cat

For the cat’s paws, I animated the fingertips slightly as it didn’t really need to move.

Dog

The dogs are animated mainly in the head, moving with the movement of the human head in the live shot.

Lighting-001

I used a green and orange light hitting down from two opposite sides to create a high saturation feel.

Lighting – Mood board

The initial idea for the lighting was to make a colour clash, using two very pure colours put together to make a lowfi feel.

Model Animation/Texture-001

Because what I want to do is to replace the human head with an animal head . But I’m not doing facial tracking because I don’t have that much time to start with facial tracking at the moment. So the way I chose to do it was to animate the model in Maya with reference to the real shot.

In the end, I deleted all the foregrounds and kept only the background and the fog, according to the comments.

DMP

Our group needed to have a window scene and I made the first version of the DMP based on some information they gave me and some of my own research.

Rough Editing

I sorted through the finished footage and sorted out the story lines to help with the post-editing process.

Research

After filming, the next step is to conduct further research on the project. My theme is “misfit,” so I wanted to highlight the difference in the crowd. I would replace a human head with an animal head. In the choice of animals, I chose dog and cat.
